The Enchanted Dagger

I was about 80% done with this page when a freak computer glitch completely wiped out the whole file.  Normally I pull my hair out when a freak mishap (for example, my twice annual “kick the power cord out of the computer”), but I’ve never lost an entire page before.  it was such a shock, I had no choice but to immediately begin working on it again, which I did.

I thought “give you some of this!”, was a pretty “Classic EDag” sort of line.  Golden Age EDag was written as a pretty basic costumed do gooder.  I added the pretentious blathering side of his personality for the purposes of our rendition.  He did have some funny declarations in the old comics.  Hard to tell if they were intentionally funny or accidentally funny…

there are still touch ups to do here, if course.  Christmas lights and  ropes around the tent poles and such…
