Here’s a page that I’m mostly content with for a change, though I basically had to rework the whole thing since my initial go at it…this time last year. Maybe I’ll add the original take to our description here at some point, just to show.
I’ve always been project oriented when it comes to making this stuff…I don’t spend a lot of time on drawings outside of the comic and I’m trying my darnedest to not distract myself with side projects. This week I have been working on something as an excuse to delve into Photoshop a little bit more and try to start getting the hang of it. I’ve only been using it to reinforce my illustrator inks and touch up some colors (also done in illustrator, as I’ve mentioned a hundred times). My experiments led me to discovering something called “filters”.
Okay I’m being a little bit facetious there. Photoshop sheen. Might gradually implement. May have helped a page or two…
